Our refinishers have extensive experience specializing in pianos. Our self-contained spray booth allows for flawless finishes that restore the beauty to a treasured family heirloom.

Although the exterior of the piano is not critical to the sound, it is aesthetically important and can affect resale value. Many older pianos have beautifully ornate cabinets, often with woods that are very expensive or simply not available today. A new finish brings a piano like this back to life and increases its resale value as well as its value as a piece of furniture in the home.

Depending on the condition of the finish, a new finish may be as simple as cleaning, filling the existing finish, and applying a few coats of lacquer. Typically, however, the piano would need to be completely stripped of its finish for the job to be done correctly. When the old finish is removed, the owner then has the option of restoring the piano to its original color or changing it to better suit the interior home decor.
