Irene Besse Keyboards is the exclusive Steinway & Sons representative for the Canadian Prairie Provinces. Honens International Piano Competition, Jack Singer Concert Hall at the Epcor Centre (Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra), Pengrowth Saddledome, Calgary Opera, Alberta Ballet, Calgary Opera Company, Jubilee Auditorium, the Royal Conservatory of Music (Toronto) examinations, Numerous Local Churches, Edmonton's Winspear Centre, and the Calgary Concerto Competition (C3) are among the many performing arts presenters and venues to which Irene Besse Keyboards' Concert and Artist Department provides Steinway concert pianos and service.

In July we supplied a 9' Steinway for Diana Krall at the Hyatt Hotel during the Stampede celebrations.  We will also be supplying pianos for the Gryphon Trio and the Bergmann Duo at the Grand Theatre as part of the High Performance Rodeo in partnership with One Yellow Rabbit. 

We maintain a fleet of Steinway & Sons 9-foot and 7-foot concert pianos meticulously groomed to satisfy the demands of the most discriminating artists.

We are able to arrange long and short-term leases of grand pianos to jewellery stores, medical offices, professional buildings,  showhomes, and realtors (among others) for aesthetic value and background music.

We have a wide variety of grand and upright acoustic pianos by Boston, Essex and other fine makers, Roland digital pianos, and Rodgers Classic digital organs. With over forty years of experience and an unmatched selection of pianos and organs, Irene Besse Keyboards is uniquely qualified to help you with all your short-term keyboard instrument needs. From a single piano for a private party to multiple instruments for large conventions and festivals, we can...and do...handle it all.

Many various-sized baby grand pianos - Great for home use.  Also great for showhomes and suitable for background playing

2 - Roland Digital Grand Pianos - Appropriate for all 'player piano' situtations and sound-system tie-in.

1 - Kurzweil KC-2500 Stage Piano

Various Upright Pianos - For accompaniment, practice, and warm-up

Many musicians specify a certain type or size of piano in their contract riders.  Whether this instrument is a 9-foot Steinway Grand or a specific type of electronic keyboard, we are able to meet your needs.
