Irene Besse Keyboards is Western Canada’s premiere piano & keyboard retailer.  We represent the prestigious Steinway & Sons family of pianos.  We are also home to Calgary’s largest private music school.

Positions Available:

The Irene Besse Academy of Music is always looking for enthusiastic music professionals to join our team at one or both of our Calgary locations.

We ask that you have a demonstrated love of your craft.  While we understand that a concert-level of playing is not indicative of teaching ability, we expect that you love your instrument enough to keep current with your own playing of it.

Current lesson offerings include: Piano, Keyboards, Music Theory/History, Voice, Guitar, Violin, and Cello.

Presently, we have openings for instructors with the following specialities:

• Guitar
• Brass/Woodwinds
  

We offer a free recital program to our teachers and students in Steinway Concert Hall, the crown jewel of our organization.
